BATCH 1 ~ 49 COPIES

He's been done in resin,  bronze and fine bone china and this new offer in micro pewter is reduced scale and he's still the cutest begger you ever laid eyes on!!!   From the original resin release in 2011 "He's a mischievous little devil of a gelding who has certainly gotten his share of treats and who also knows how to charm you out of just a few more! Kipling represents one of those smallest of equines found the world over who somehow seem to have the most colossal personalities!"

Pewter Scale - 1:48 technically (based on a B Division 37-38 inch tall real miniature horse).   He stands ~2cm at the wither, last of the mane hairs!

Shipping immediately (Friday) however I suggest you order other purchases separately for combined shipping (and use the code listed on the descriptions of the other currently available items you purchase).

Return policy - please inspect immediately upon purchase.  These are limited editions and there are no extra copies held back but you can get a refund or put in for an exchange if need be when future batches are brought in.

Pewter Kipling

$50.00Price

Kipling has been an iconic sculpture for me, starring in my logos and capturing the hearts of fans for years! Originally released in 2011 in traditional scale, he was inspired by and modeled exclusively from photos I took of miniatures in people’s backyards and at BreyerFest. Since then, he has been produced in various media, but this pewter edition marks the first of the scaled-down versions!

One of my favorite renditions of Kipling was the series of one-of-a-kind fine bone china pieces, each uniquely hand-finished by the incredibly skilled artists at Horsing Around. While not all of them were added to my site, there were a total of 35, which might serve as great inspiration for painting these micros! You can check them out here: https://www.artbymorgen.com/clinky_kipling.htm.

These scaled-down scans were digitally refined by Morgen, who enhanced the contrast and made slight adjustments to preserve detail at the tiny size. Kipling serves as the perfect ambassador for a new era in her work—while he was originally one of her first sculptures created entirely by hand in soft clay back in 2011, he is now among her first digitally modified pieces as she transitions from hand-sculpting to this next era for her!
